Commanders' 2023 schedule released

Washington will open the season at home against the Panthers

The Commanders will face a tough test in Week 1 when they host the Carolina Panthers. Carolina went 6-11 last season, but they have a lot of talent on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Sam Darnold is coming off a solid season, and he has a lot of weapons to work with, including Christian McCaffrey, D.J. Moore, and Robbie Anderson. The Panthers' defense is also solid, led by Brian Burns and Jeremy Chinn.

The Commanders will need to be at their best to beat the Panthers in Week 1. Washington went 7-10 last season, but they have a lot of new faces on both sides of the ball.
