Cowboy Basketball Signs Class of 2025 Sharp-Shooter
OSU Lands Top 100 Guard in Jayden Williams
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State men's basketball coach Mike Boynton announced Friday the signing of 6-5 guard Jayden Williams to a National Letter of Intent, bringing another blue-chip talent to Stillwater during the early signing period.
A consensus four-star recruit, Williams is ranked as the No. 93 overall prospect and No. 22 shooting guard in the nation by 247Sports. He is also considered a top-100 recruit by ESPN and Rivals.
The Missouri City, Texas, native averaged 25.7 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists as a junior at Ridge Point High School. He shot 44.5% from the field, 38.0% from three-point range and 76.5% at the free-throw line.
Williams Brings Scoring Punch to OSU Backcourt
Williams is a gifted scorer with a smooth shooting stroke and a knack for getting to the rim. He is also a strong rebounder for his position and has the potential to be a lockdown defender.
Boynton said Williams is a perfect fit for the Cowboys' up-tempo style of play.
"Jayden is a dynamic scorer who can really shoot it," Boynton said. "He has great size for a guard and is a willing defender. We're excited to have him join our program."
Williams is the second signee in Oklahoma State's 2025 recruiting class, joining four-star forward Brandon Garrison.
