ESPN Ranks FAU Men's Basketball Second in Conference

FAU Men's Basketball Projected to Finish 2nd in Conference USA

Based on ESPN's preseason poll, the Florida Atlantic Owls are picked to finish in second place in Conference USA this season.

The Owls, who finished 19-12 last season and reached the quarterfinals of the College Basketball Invitational, received 13 first-place votes.

Marshall was picked to finish first in the poll, receiving 15 first-place votes.

FAU returns a number of key players from last season's team, including leading scorer Alijah Martin and rebounding leader Giancarlo Blanquicett.

The Owls also added a number of talented newcomers, including junior college All-American Michael Forrest Jr.

FAU will open the season on November 7th at home against Florida A&M.
