LSU takes down Alabama State 87-56 in exhibition opener
The LSU Tigers opened their exhibition schedule with an 87-56 victory over the Alabama State Hornets on Wednesday night at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
The Tigers were led by junior forward Darius Days, who finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman guard Brandon Murray added 16 points, while senior guard Antonio Blakeney contributed 15 points.
The Hornets were led by senior guard Jacoby Ross, who scored 15 points. Junior forward Reginald Gee added 12 points, while senior guard Maurice Strong contributed 10 points.
