Italy won 2-1 in Hungary, while France came from 2-0 down to draw with Croatia

Both teams will now face each other in the quarter-finals

Italy and France have both reached the quarter-finals of the Nations League after winning their respective matches on Monday.

Italy came from behind to beat Hungary 2-1 in Budapest, while France drew 2-2 with Croatia in Split.

Italy took the lead through Nicolo Barella in the 30th minute, but Hungary equalised through Dominik Szoboszlai just before half-time.

Giacomo Raspadori scored the winner for Italy in the 75th minute.

France found themselves 2-0 down to Croatia after goals from Andrej Kramaric and Marko Livaja.

However, Aurelien Tchouameni pulled one back for France in the 79th minute and Kylian Mbappe equalised in the 90th minute.

The draw means that France finish top of Group 1, while Croatia finish second.

Italy finish top of Group 3, while Hungary finish second.

The quarter-finals of the Nations League will be played on June 14 and 15, with the semi-finals on June 18 and the final on June 22.
