Austin FC's Julio Cascante has been called up to the Costa Rican national team for a pair of friendlies in November. Costa Rica will face Colombia in San José on November 10th and then travel to face Peru in Lima on November 16th. Cascante has earned 21 caps for Costa Rica, scoring two goals. He was part of the Costa Rican squad that reached the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
