Kane criticizes former PSV player: 'I'm not a fan'
Former PSV Eindhoven player Kenneth Perez has been critical of current Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.
Perez, who played for PSV from 2005 to 2008, said that he is not impressed with Kane's style of play.
“I’m not a fan of Harry Kane,” Perez said. “I think he’s a good player, but I don’t think he’s a great player.”
Kane has been one of the most prolific goalscorers in the Premier League in recent years, but Perez believes that he is not a complete player.
“He’s a good finisher, but I don’t think he’s a good all-around player,” Perez said. “I don’t think he’s good with his feet, and I don’t think he’s good in the air.”
Kane has scored 185 goals in 278 appearances for Tottenham, but Perez believes that he is not a world-class player.
“I think he’s a good player, but I don’t think he’s a great player,” Perez said. “I don’t think he’s in the same class as players like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.”
It remains to be seen whether Kane will be able to prove Perez wrong and establish himself as one of the best strikers in the world.
