Mizzou Men's Basketball Signs 2 In-State Recruits in 2025 Class
Tigers Add Key Pieces to Future Roster
The Mizzou men's basketball program has added two in-state recruits to its 2025 class. The Tigers have signed 6'7" forward Ja'Kobe Walter and 6'2" guard De'Vion Harmon to National Letters of Intent. Both players are considered to be among the top prospects in the state of Missouri.
Ja'Kobe Walter
Walter is a 4-star recruit according to 247Sports and is ranked as the No. 2 player in the state of Missouri for the 2025 class.
He is a versatile forward who can score inside and out. He is also a good rebounder and defender.
Walter helped lead his high school team to a state championship as a junior. He averaged 20 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists per game during his junior season.
De'Vion Harmon
Harmon is a 3-star recruit according to 247Sports and is ranked as the No. 4 player in the state of Missouri for the 2025 class.
He is a quick and athletic guard who can score and distribute the ball. He is also a good defender.
Harmon helped lead his high school team to a district championship as a junior. He averaged 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game during his junior season.
The addition of Walter and Harmon gives Mizzou two talented in-state recruits who can help the Tigers compete in the Southeastern Conference (SEC).
Walter and Harmon are expected to join the Mizzou program in the fall of 2025.
