The 27-year-old wicket-keeper batsman achieved the feat in the second T20I against India at Warner Park in St Kitts on Monday.
Pooran made his T20I debut for the West Indies in 2016 and has since gone on to establish himself as one of the most destructive batsmen in the format.
He has scored 2,212 runs in 99 T20Is at an average of 25.79 and a strike rate of 144.57.
Pooran has also taken 21 catches and effected 21 stumpings in T20Is.
In the second T20I against India, Pooran scored a quickfire 24 off 13 balls to help the West Indies to a five-wicket victory.
After the match, Pooran said that he was proud to have reached the milestone of 100 T20Is.
“It’s a special feeling to play 100 T20Is for the West Indies,” said Pooran.
"I’m grateful for the opportunity to represent my country and I’m proud of what we’ve achieved as a team.”
Pooran also said that he is still hungry to achieve more in his T20I career.
“I feel like I can play a hundred more T20Is,” said Pooran.
"I’m still young and I’m still learning. I’m excited to see what the future holds.”
