Base Salaries to Increase for Soto and Witt
Two MLB award finalists will receive contract bonuses. Juan Soto and Bobby Witt Jr. are both finalists for the National League and American League Rookie of the Year awards, respectively. If either player wins the award, their base salary will increase by $1 million in 2023.
