England moved top of Group C3 in the UEFA Nations League with a comfortable 1-0 win over Greece

Mason Mount scored the only goal of the game

England moved into top spot in UEFA Nations League Group C3 with a 1-0 victory over Greece at Wembley.

Gareth Southgate's side had been held to a goalless draw by Italy on Saturday, but they made no mistake against Greece thanks to Mason Mount's second-half strike.

Mount's goal came in the 75th minute, when he collected the ball on the left-hand side of the penalty area and fired a low shot past Orestis Karnezis in the Greece goal.

The win takes England top of the group with seven points from three games, while Greece remain bottom with just one point.
