Ricardo Pepi shines in attack

Ricardo Pepi, the 19-year-old striker, has been a bright spot for the United States men's national team in recent months and Saturday's win over Jamaica was no different.

Pepi scored the game's opening goal in the 49th minute showcasing his knack for finding the back of the net.

Aside from goal, the FC Dallas forward was a handful for a Jamaican defense that struggled to keep up with his pace and industry on the field.

Matt Turner makes big saves

The third and final goal for the United States came off the boot of Daryl Dike in the 83rd minute.

Turner made several key saves to keep Jamaica off the board, including a diving stop on a point-blank shot from Junior Flemmings in the 65th minute and a fingertip save over the crossbar on a free kick from Ravel Morrison in the 78th minute.

Turner's heroics helped the United States secure a much-needed win and his performance was a reminder of why he is one of the top goalkeepers in Major League Soccer.

Individual performances

Ricardo Pepi (8/10): An excellent performance from the 19-year-old forward, scoring the opening goal and providing his usual work rate and determination. Matt Turner (8/10): Another excellent display from the USA goalkeeper who made some big saves Sergiño Dest (7/10): A solid game by the Barcelona right-back, who was largely untroubled by the Jamaican defense. Walker Zimmerman (7/10): A good performance from the Nashville center-back marshalling the defense and was always composed on the ball. Jordan Morris (6/10): A decent game by the Seattle left-back who made some good runs down the flank but could not provide an attacking threat. Weston McKennie (6/10): A quiet game by the Juventus midfielder, who was not as influential as he can be. Tyler Adams (6/10): A solid performance by the New York Red Bulls midfielder, who was tidy in possession and broke up Jamaicas attacks well.
