USMNT to Play Jamaica in Nations League Opener
Pochettino's Squad Faces Off Against Reggae Boyz on June 10th
The United States Men's National Soccer Team (USMNT) will open their 2022-23 Concacaf Nations League campaign with a match against Jamaica on June 10th in Austin, Texas.
The match will be the first for the USMNT under new head coach Mauricio Pochettino, who was appointed in January 2023. Pochettino will be looking to get his tenure off to a winning start as the USMNT looks to qualify for the 2023 Concacaf Gold Cup.
Jamaica will be a tough test for the USMNT, as they are the defending Caribbean Cup champions. The Reggae Boyz also reached the semi-finals of the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup. Jamaica will be looking to make a statement against the USMNT and start their Nations League campaign on a positive note.
The USMNT will be without several key players for the match, including Christian Pulisic, Weston McKennie, and Tyler Adams. However, Pochettino will still have a number of talented players at his disposal, including Gio Reyna, Brenden Aaronson, and Yunus Musah.
The match between the USMNT and Jamaica will be played at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:30pm ET.
