Cobra Kai: Season 4 Wrap Up
After a three-year hiatus, YouTube’s hit karate series Cobra Kai is set to return for its long-awaited fourth season on December 31. The season will pick up where Season 3 left off, as Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) team up to take down their nemesis, John Kreese (Martin Kove). The season will also feature the return of several fan-favorite characters, including Miguel Diaz (Xolo Maridueña), Sam LaRusso (Mary Mouser), and Tory Nichols (Peyton List). The fourth season is expected to be the show's final season, although no official announcement has been made.
Emilia Pérez in Wild Indian
Emilia Pérez makes her Oscar debut in Lyle Mitchell Corbine Jr.’s Wild Indian, which was released in theaters on December 3. The film follows two Anishinaabe men who reunite after being released from prison and attempt to reconcile with their past while evading the authorities. Pérez delivers a breakout performance as Makwa, who was imprisoned for murder as a teenager and must now confront her role in the crime in order to move on. Her performance has drawn raves from critics, with many predicting an Oscar nomination in her future.
